Rosnor Energo underwrites educational contract.
In the premises of the the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Moscow, Rosnor Energo signed an educational contract with RAO UES, the Power Exchange ATS and Center of Infrastructural Research. During the next months Rosnor Energo will arrange seminars and courses on the issue – Competetive Power Markets seen with the experience from the liberalized markets in the World today.
Pointing out the experience learned trough several years of deregulated markets the Norwegian Ambassador Nordsletten welcomed the Russian participants to join efforts with the Nordic Countries towards a common electricity market. Among them taking part in the ceremony was Vyacheslav Y. Sinyugin, Deputy CEO of RAO UES, and Vasily A. Zubakin, Head of Capital Management Department, who stated the importance of taking valuable knowledge into consideration when building up the new deregulated power market in Russia. By using specific knowledge and synchronizing the Russian and European power markets the increased energy efficiency would submerge.
